When a review completes, the report appears on your dashboard and you receive an email notification. Here is what you will find inside.
The report at a glance
Open the report to see four sections:
- Health score — an overall rating of the prospect's books, from clean to significantly disorganized.
- Findings — each health check that flagged an issue, with the specific evidence pulled from QuickBooks.
- Financial snapshot — key figures from the prospect's books (revenue, transaction volume, and others used in the review).
- Quote — the generated cleanup and monthly management estimate.
How the quote is calculated
Expand How this is calculated on the report page to see the full breakdown:
- Monthly fee = base rate + the transaction-volume, bank and card account, and revenue add-ons, priced as clean books (or with the books condition factor too, if you chose to apply it to the monthly).
- Cleanup fee = the monthly rate × the books condition factor for the health score's complexity tier × the estimated months of catch-up work. For example, a High factor of 1.5 and 10 months behind make the cleanup 15 times the monthly rate.
When pricing is on hold
Sometimes a quote rests on something Sajentic cannot stand behind on its own. The quote then shows On hold, and the business owner sees no price in any email, PDF, or on their books review page until you resolve it. You still see the estimate and the reason. A quote is held when:
- Your pricing settings are still the defaults. Review them in Settings, or choose Use current pricing on the report.
- QuickBooks did not return a report the price needs (the general ledger, profit and loss, or chart of accounts). Run a new checkup.
- Months behind hit the 24-month limit, or came only from a fallback signal rather than reconciliation or posting dates. Confirm the number or change it.
You can still send a report without pricing while a quote is on hold.
Open Inputs and evidence on the report to see each pricing input and how it was found: Measured, Estimated, Not visible in QuickBooks, or Confirmed by firm. It also shows where months behind came from, with each bank and card account's reconciled-through and last-posting dates.
Adjusting a quote
Choose Adjust quote to change an input (months behind, bank and card transactions, bank and card accounts, or the complexity) or a total (the monthly or the cleanup). Sajentic's value stays beside yours, so the context is never lost.
Each field starts at the value in force, so the arrow keys step up or down from it. Change it and choose Apply. Applying Sajentic's own value confirms it.
A reason is optional. Choose Add a reason (optional) under a field to pick one, such as Data: months behind is wrong, Competitive pressure, or Capacity, and add a note if you like. Your firm sees the reason and the note. The business owner never does.
The cleanup is priced at your monthly, so changing the monthly changes the cleanup too.
To undo one change, choose Reset to Sajentic's value beside it. Your other changes stay as they are.
